We are seeking a passionate and experienced chef / cook to prepare nutritious, balanced, and child-friendly meals for pre-kindergarten and school-aged children. This position involves planning and preparing daily meals, ensuring food safety standards are met, and accommodating any dietary restrictions or preferences. The ideal candidate will have a love for working with children, a deep understanding of nutritional needs for young kids, and experience in a school or daycare kitchen environment.

Qualifications :

Proven experience as a chef, cook, or similar role in a school, daycare, or childcare setting if possible.

Knowledge of nutrition for children and experience preparing age-appropriate, healthy meals.

Understanding of food allergies, dietary restrictions, and the importance of food safety.

Ability to follow recipes, adapt to special needs, and manage time efficiently.

High school diploma or equivalent; culinary certification or relevant training is a plus.

Passion for working with children and creating a positive mealtime experience.

SALARY IS NEGOTIABLE. WOULD PREFERABLY LIKE AN CONTRACTED COOK
