CNC Operator
Titan Granite - St. Louis, MO
Titan Granite is seeking an experienced CNC operator. We fabricate custom countertops and run a Northwood 138 router. Previous stone experience is desired.
Responsibilities:
- Operate the CNC to cut granite, marble & quartz slabs for fabrication
- Monitor and verify that rough-cut machinery is operating correctly
- Perform quality checks on finished pieces
- Utilize overhead crane to relocate slabs
- Operate forklift to move heavy material
- Inspect the overhead crane and forklift daily
- Conduct visual inspections of complex bridge saw equipment
- Perform all required documentation with detail and accuracy
- Communicate with supervisor regarding machine functionality
- Keep work area clean and free of clutter
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Conduct all job-related duties in a safe and responsible manner
- Attend work daily, be punctual, and work the duration of a shift
Desired Skills & Experience:
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- 2 years of CNC operating experience preferred
- Proficiency with basic mathematics
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work safely
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work as a team player
- Sense of urgency in completing work
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand on concrete for the duration of a work shift
