Great Escapes RV Resorts is a growing company specializing in acquisition, development, and management of RV Resorts throughout the United States. Our leaders serve a diverse sector of the RV resort / hospitality industry.

We are looking for a Part Time Courtesy Patrol to join our team and help protect our premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for patrolling our campground during the day or after business hours and conducting security checks. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility and excellent observation skills.

Part Time Hours: 30 hours a week / 5 days a week at 6 hours each day 6PM to midnight.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property.
• Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions.
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of campground.
• Prevent unauthorized persons from entering restricted areas.
• Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must possess a valid U.S. Driver’s License.
• Excellent written, verbal, and problem-solving skills; plus, ability to interact effectively with guests and employees.
• Possess computer skills necessary to complete required on-line reports.
• Ability to calmly deal with medical, fire, security, or safety situations.
• Working knowledge of radio communications.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Employees are regularly required to stand, sit, and walk. Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time, stoop, kneel, and couch. Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
