Job Title: Caregiver
Job Summary:
As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate care and support to individuals in need. Your primary responsibility will be to assist clients with daily activities, ensuring their well-being and comfort. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care in various settings such as assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and hospice care environments.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized assistance to clients with activities of daily living
- Monitor and record vital signs to ensure the health and safety of clients
- Administer first aid when necessary and respond to emergencies promptly
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for clients
- Assist with mobility, including lifting and transferring clients when needed
- Collaborate with healthcare team members, including nurses and social workers, to develop care plans
- Support clients emotionally and socially by engaging in meaningful interactions
- Ensure medication adherence and assist with medication management as required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields preferred
- Knowledge of assisted living, hospice care, and nursing home practices
- Ability to perform tasks that may require physical strength, such as lifting or transferring clients
- Proficiency in monitoring vital signs and responding to medical emergencies
- First aid certification is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact compassionately with clients
- Understanding of patient care principles and practices
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: Up to $16.00 per hour
