Under the direction of the Manager of Facilities Operations, a Painter is responsible for delivering high-quality painting to our residents. They must be reliable and skillful as well as possess great attention to detail in completing their duties.
Required: Driver's License
Preferred: 1 years' experience in residential painting

Qualifications

- Responsible for all painting activities on property which includes working with Facilities Manager to provide timely and quality painting service.
- Ensure properties have the adequate levels of paint.
- Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting.
- Fill all cracks and holes that are smaller than a nickel with appropriate material such as plaster and texture
- Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right color.
- Paint surfaces with appropriate tools according to given instructions.
- Communicate with Facilities Manager on a regular basis to ensure completion of the project and satisfaction of the customer.
- Consistently pass proper inspection of completed work.
- Perform record keeping and processing of all required paperwork.
- Train new painters to use Entrata and the required standards of the department.
- Use painting tools and machinery properly to complete assigned work.
- Clean and maintain all painting equipment which may include brushes, rollers, sprayers, pumps, etc.
- Participate in the on-call shift rotation and follow all procedures outlined in the On-call Policy; respond to emergencies as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures Manual.
- When applicable, operate company vehicles within state laws and company policies. Responsible for keeping the company vehicle well-kept and safe; report issues in a timely manner to the safety team.
- Report for Snow removal timely to shovel snow and deice assigned properties.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines given by Facilities Manager.
- Perform other duties in related fields as needed which may include cross-training in related positions.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Salary : $16 - $20
