What are the responsibilities and job description for the Therapeutic Summer Program Assistants position at TLC - The Treatment and Learning Centers, Inc.?
The Therapeutic Program Assistant assists the Speech Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, and/or special educator in all activities of the day, including in the classroom, on the playground, or in the other special settings such as lunch, art, music, field trips, etc. EOE
Programs run for 7 weeks from June 30, 2025 - August 15, 2025. The Therapeutic Program Assistant must be able to commit to the full 7 weeks. Hours are 8:45am-3:45pm, but will consider half days of 8:45am-12:45pm or 12:15pm-3:45pm.
Required Experience for the Therapeutic Program Assistant:
College-level work in early childhood development, special education, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, is highly desirable.
Demonstrated experience in working with young children (age two to seven years) in nursery schools, child care centers, special camps or school programs is also highly desirable.
