What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Dietitian position at TLC?
We are seeking a dedicated professional to lead the growth of our nutrition department and oversee all nutrition-related activities. Key responsibilities include:
- Staff Training: Participate in training sessions focused on Nutrition, Exchanges, and MST to ensure team proficiency.
- Client Assessment: Evaluate clients' nutritional needs and provide counseling and education to clients and their families.
- Meal Planning: Collaborate with clients in PHP/RTC to create personalized meal plans.
- Vendor Coordination: Work with food vendors to meet the nutritional requirements of each client effectively.
- Monitoring Intake: Track food consumption and adjust meal plans as needed for optimal client health.
- Supervision: Oversee the work of Dietary Technicians (DTRs) and Dietary Aides as necessary.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with other Registered Dietitians (RDs) and DTRs to streamline operations.
Registered Dietitian license (North Carolina) required. One year Experience with/knowledge of eating disorder population a must.
