Grants Manager

Tlingit-Haida Regional Housing Authority is seeking a caring and motivated individual who wants to help connect families with affordable housing by finding opportunities as a Grant Manager.

THE ORGANIZATION

Since 1973, the Tlingit-Haida Regional Housing Authority (THRHA) has been working to connect southeast Alaskans with sustainable housing opportunities and innovative financial solutions.

THE ROLE

This role reports to the Vice President of Administration and will be responsible for the following:

• Research and identify potential grant funding sources.
• Write clear, concise, and compelling grant proposals and applications that communicate THRHA’s mission, goals, and programs to potential funders.
• Collaborate with finance and budgeting team to develop budgets for grant proposal.
• Manage active grants.

WHO YOU ARE

• Experienced grant writer
• Project planner who prioritizes and meets critical deadlines.
• Clear and concise communicator
• Independent minded able to work with little or no direction.

WHAT YOU BRING

• 4 years of administrative experience, including at least 2 years of experience in public housing services programs, management, or community development.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
