A Nursing Home Director of Admissions manages the entire intake process, acting as the primary liaison between hospitals, families, and the facility to ensure a smooth transition for new residents. They are responsible for driving occupancy rates through marketing, conducting tours, verifying insurance/financials, and maintaining compliance with regulations.

- Marketing & Community Relations: Establishes relationships with hospital discharge planners, physicians, and community partners to generate referrals.
- Family Communication: Acts as the initial contact for families, providing tours, explaining services, and guiding them through the transition.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintains knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations and ensures all documentation adheres to federal/state standards.
- Occupancy Tracking: Manages bed availability, reports on inquiries/admissions/discharges, and collaborates on marketing strategies.
