Corsa performance based in Berea, OH is looking for Welders.
Responsibilities:
Perform duties as assigned by Supervisor or area coordinator. Job duties may include but are not limited to MIG/TIG welding, metal working, deburring, measurement and visual inspection, completing job tracking paperwork and labor time reporting.
- Demonstrated or documented prior working proficiency in MIG and/or TIG welding. Certification preferred.
- Ability to work on more challenging configurations with limited tooling/fixturing.
- Consistent ability to produce at a pace at or above standard rates.
- Learn to produce highly cosmetic weld joints or otherwise exceptional appearance of parts produced.
- Ability to follow directions and complete assignments as prioritized by Production Supervisor or area coordinator.
- Assist in training Welder 1’s to perform to our internal standards.
- Able to overcome minor dimensional or other fitment problems and still produce an end product that meets established guidelines.
- Read manufacturing drawings or other work instructions.
- Connect parts using established welding parameters or processes.
- Inspect work to ensure that it complies with all requirements and the highest workmanship standards.
- Perform secondary operations to complete the part or add additional features.
- Follow established work procedures and standard practices.
- Train Welder 1’s to perform work to company standards and customer expectations.
- Operate/use equipment as defined for each specific job assignment in accordance with job training and/or prior knowledge.
- Monitor quality of work to ensure that it meets established criteria or other defined parameters.
- Achieve established targets for daily output.
- Keep work area to 6S standards.
- Performs additional duties and assignments as requested.

Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Vocational school or certified welding program preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in MIG and/or TIG welding. Prior work experience or formal education required.
- at least 3 years' experience in welding.

- Required to visually identify defects in incoming materials as well as use inspection tools and equipment.
