What are the responsibilities and job description for the Saturday - Medical Assisting Instructor - Adjunct position at TN Professional Training Institute?
We are looking for 2 Medical Assisting Instructors to join our team of highly qualified, committed and passionate instructors to teach our Saturday course.
- Must have at least 3 years Medical Assisting experience within the last 3 years
- Must be proficient in Phlebotomy and EKG technician skills
- Must have a heart for teaching/leading others
- Saturdays, 8 am - 5 pm
TN Professional Training Institute offers small classes, hands on learning and individual student support to help our students become confident and capable in their chosen field of study.
Instructors must have at least three years of medical assisting experience and be organized, encouraging and willing and able to communicate the curriculum as well as teach the clinical (hands on) skills needed for the career.
The curriculum includes many topics, including but not limited to: phlebotomy, ekg tech, vitals, patient records, anatomy & physiology, body systems, administrative tasks, sterilization, OSHA, minor procedures, and other entry level medical assisting responsibilities, etc.
The curriculum and tests are established and the instructor will be responsible for teaching the material, administering tests and assessments, and preparing the students for the responsibilities of the medical assistant in the healthcare field.
