What are the responsibilities and job description for the Detailer Technician position at TNT Services?
TNT Services has a need for detail and wash bay technicians to join our growing team and deliver outstanding service to our customers.
Responsibilities Detailer (including but not limited to):
- Cleaning the interior and exterior of customer's units
- Vacuum and scrub interior of the vehicle
- Clean engine and engine compartment
- Apply dressing on tires and tire wells
- Polishing aluminum, decal removal, and degreasing
- Painting rims and frames and other detail services
- Utilize special-purpose cleaners to ensure lasting cleanliness of vehicles
Both positions responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Operate all tools in a safe manner
- Report any safety issues immediately to management
- Housekeeping of work area
REQUIREMENTS FOR BOTH POSITIONS:
- Ability to pay attention to detail
- Ability to follow directions/instructions
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently
- No restriction regarding heights
- Per insurance requirements to drive must be at least 22 years of age with a valid driver’s license (helpful but not required)
- Work is physical and endurance-based with prolonged and repeated: lifting (up to 50 lbs)bending, twisting, standing, climbing, crawling, reaching, lifting, pulling, pushing, and crouching
