Crew Member Lawn Care Maintenance

Provides general lawn maintenance for residential and commercial properties. This position works as a member of a team with minimal supervision and reports to a team leader. This position is required to operate a variety of related mechanical equipment and hand tools.

Responsibilities

Provides general lawn maintenance for residential and commercial properties. This position works as a member of a team with minimal supervision and reports to a team leader. This position is required to operate a variety of related mechanical equipment and hand tools.

· Perform routine landscape maintenance such as mowing, trimming, edging, mulching and leaf cleanup

· Seasonal lawn care: Spring Cleanup and Fall Cleanup

· Maintain/Clean equipment and trucks daily

· Fill out daily information on work completed and turn in by end of each day

· Maintain a clean and safe environment as well as a professional image

Expectations

Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license

Stay motivated to complete jobs assigned for that day

Be able to work outside in all weather conditions

Be able to take and perform directions from a higher authority

While performing the physical duties of this job a team member is regularly required to stand, walk, crouch, stoop/kneel, lift/move up to 80lbs

Knowledge/Experience

• Preferred one year experience in lawn maintenance

• Preferred experience with using a variety of mechanical lawn equipment and hand tools, including but not limited to, 21” mowers, 48” walk-behind mowers, riding mowers with attachments, weed eaters, blowers and gas powered shears

• Ability to operate a truck and trailer combination proficiently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
