Accounting Specialist

Tobler Marina seeks a dynamic Accounting Specialist to join our Hayden location Accounting Department. Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager and CFO, the primary focus of this role is on bookkeeping and reconciliation tasks. Responsibilities encompass full-cycle accounting, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings, as well as reconciling accounts, and posting adjusting entries.

Key Responsibilities:

· Support full-cycle accounting procedures.

· Conduct balance sheet reconciliations.

· Handle monthly depreciation and amortization tasks.

· Execute necessary adjusting entries and reclasses.

· Manage customer payments, encompassing cash, checks, credit card transactions, and electronic funds transfers.

· Apply payments accurately and promptly to customer accounts.

· Oversee mail collection and distribution.

· Collaborate with various teams to address customer and accounting issues and enhance operational procedures.

· Demonstrate flexibility in undertaking ad hoc accounting projects.

Preferred Candidate Qualifications:

· Highly motivated with meticulous attention to detail

· Exhibit forward-thinking abilities to chart pathways toward objectives

· Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Uphold a strong work ethic and organizational abilities

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

· Trained in 10-key data entry

· Prior experience in accounting or bookkeeping

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
