Somerset Gynecology & Obstetrics, a practice partner of Together Women's Health, is seeking a full time Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing team!

- Uses a team approach to develop and achieve daily patient-centered individualized care goals.
- Acknowledges and values the contributions of the patients’ significant others as an integral part of the plan of care
- Performs telephone triage, patient education, handling of physician phone calls, pharmacy calls; may assist by calling to set up appointments or arrange hospital tests or admissions
- Administers intramuscular injections and minor treatments as prescribed; records and documents all such activities in the chart
- Assists physician with patient examinations, diagnostic tests and/or procedures when needed.
- Completes paperwork such as ordering lab tests, imaging, school/work notes, FMLA, etc.
- Counsels’ patients concerning lifestyle modifications, medication regimens, side effects, and interactions using an appropriate psychosocial communication level
- Communicates to patients and office coordinators follow-up appointments, ancillary and/or pre-operative testing and scheduling needed for patient
- Coordinates ordering of tests/procedures with other clinical staff
- Respond to patient questions and concerns as liaison between physician and patient
- Reports all test results to the patient as directed by the physician
- Additional duties as assigned
- Complete prior authorizations for medications and coordinate medication refills
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- State of Michigan RN License
- BLS certification
- At least one year of working experience as an RN
- OB/GYN experience preferred, but not required
