CNC Production Lead

This position involves steering a dedicated 2nd shift team of CNC machinists to optimize machine operation and maintain stringent quality and safety standards. • Manage CNC machinist activities ensuring accurate project execution.

• Perform CNC machine setup and operation including lathe and mill procedures.

• Review and modify job outputs for optimal production standards.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to refine machining processes and overcome challenges.

• Mentor team in advanced CNC techniques and strict safety measures.

• Conduct inspections ensuring part accuracy against specifications and standards.

• Maintain high standards of workplace cleanliness and safety compliance.

• High school diploma or GED; technical certification in machining preferred.
• 10 years of experience with CNC machinery.
• At least 3 years of offline programming, with a preference for Mastercam skills.
• Deep understanding of machining principles and tool selection.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical documents and G,D&T coding.
• Leadership and effective communication abilities to enhance team dynamics.
• Exceptional analytical and precision-focused capabilities.
• Thorough understanding of occupational safety standards.
