Charms is looking for skilled Maintenance Mechanics to join our teams on our 2nd and 3rd shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Installation, repair and maintenance all plant equipment and facilities such as packaging machinery, process machinery and other plant facilities and equipment.
- Interpret blueprints and drawings to replace machine parts from drawings or from the worn part as the example.
- Work safely and effectively with high speed packaging and bagging equipment, including horizontal pouch bagger.
- Detect and diagnose electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic malfunctions of equipment particular to the area assigned and take corrective action.
- Work in a safe manner at all times and practice good communication skills with all facets of management.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- 5 years experience in industrial maintenance required, with prior experience in food manufacturing facilities preferred.
- Certification in industrial maintenance or similar preferred.
- Ability to weld (TIG, MIG, arc) is desirable
