DESCRIPTION :
The Assistant Fuel Accounts Payable Specialist shares responsibility with Fuel
Accounts Payable Specialist for managing and processing fuel-related invoices, ensuring
accuracy. This role involves working closely with fuel vendors, our fuel dispatcher, and the rest
of the office staff to ensure smooth operations, adhering to accounting standards and company
policies.
Key Responsibilities :
Process and verify fuel invoices from vendors, ensuring correct pricing, terms, and
quantities.
Reconcile discrepancies between bill of ladings, delivery tickets, and invoices.
Review and verify fuel charges to be accurate.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all fuel accounts payable
are accurately recorded.
Stay up to date with industry trends, fuel pricing changes, and any regulatory changes
that impact fuel procurement and accounts payable.
Data enter bill of ladings, invoices, & EFTs for fuel in accounting system.
Assist with billing of wholesale suppliers.
