Key Responsibilities
1. Booking Management
- Receive and process offline/online customer booking requests, completing detailed booking information
- Coordinate and communicate with auditing personnel to handle booking review issues
- Track booking status in real-time, expedite booking confirmations, and handle booking failures
- Confirm booking schedules meet customer requirements and coordinate booking adjustments
- Process booking update information, modify and send updated booking confirmations to customers
- Manage fixed space requirements and booking situations
- Obtain necessary information and documentation for special commodity bookings
2. Customer Relationship Maintenance
- Conduct regular follow-ups to understand customers' latest requirements, shipping plans, and booking confirmation usage
- Proactively update quotations, follow up on customer shipments, and promote competitive routes and space
- Prepare customer dynamics and requirement information for customer service meetings
3. Shipment Creation and Follow-up
- Register checklists, input receivable charges, correct erroneous charges, and lock shipments
- Follow up on customer container pickup and usage before and after booking cut-off periods
- Cancel or postpone unused bookings
- Check vessel departure status, update ATD/ETD, and prompt customers to provide documentation
- Send cost confirmation sheets after vessel departure, issue invoices, collect payments, and process express releases
- Send monthly statements and invoices to credit account customers
4. Supplier Management (e.g., Trucking Services)
- Communicate and coordinate container loading times and requirements, issue work instructions
- Verify latest booking status, notify suppliers, and confirm work arrangements
- Track container loading implementation and collect operational documentation
- Review supplier invoices, input costs, and apply for payments
5. Finance Coordination and Exception Handling
- Weekly coordination with finance regarding outstanding payments and feedback on expected collection times
- Verify and provide feedback on profit anomalies and reasons for profit fluctuations
- Handle various trouble cases such as container returns, EDI transmission issues, unexpected cancellations
- Assist with documentation work including bill of lading follow-up and express releases
- Process Pier Pass applications, payments, and cost entries

1. Professional Knowledge
- Knowledge of freight forwarding operational procedures
- Professional knowledge of maritime terminology and related regulations
- Proficient operation of booking systems

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English
- Ability to communicate with customers/suppliers using concise and organized language

- Skilled at analyzing root causes of problems and finding solutions
