-Administrative Responsibilities:
1. Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department.
2. Answers questions about the organization and provides callers with address, directions, and other information. Is the voice of VenuWorks and the professional first impression.
3. Prepare and communicate/distribute records such as agendas, notices, memos, minutes and resolutions as assigned.
4. Works collaboratively with others in the accomplishment of joint tasks and common objectives.
5. Assists senior staff with all administrative activities as requested with little direction.
6. Performs other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying, and collating.
Ticketing Related Responsibilities:
7. Assists in the overall operation of the ticket office. And where applicable, ensure the proper accounting of all money and tickets for events serviced by the building.
8. Identify ticket needs for ongoing user groups (Friends of TPAC).
9. Maintains daily records of business transactions, including but not limited to, daily sales, accounts receivable, bad checks and charges, long and short show reports, complimentary tickets, and the recording and deposit of daily receipts.
10. Troubleshoot ticket related concerns in a fair, professional, and courteous manner.
11. Maintains and regularly updates calendars, electronic messages and other ticket office information equipment with event information, sales dates, prices and times.
Other Responsibilities
12. Assists with minor marketing tasks; distribution of marketing materials, the collection of marketing data as it relates to ticket sales by demographic or other targeted data collection initiatives.
13. Composes and prepares confidential correspondence, reports, and other complex documents as directed.
14. Creates and maintains databases and spreadsheet files.
15. Dedicated to meeting and/or exceeding the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
16. Consistently exhibits courteous, respectful, non-defensive and appropriate communications and presents information in a concise and understandable format
17. Attendance during regularly scheduled hours and weekend or holidays as event schedule demands.

- 1 to 3 years previous experience in a similar administrative role preferred
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Proficient in calendar management and scheduling software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel experience a plus
