What are the responsibilities and job description for the Group Fitness Instructor position at Torch Fitness by Valet Living?
Torch Fitness by Valet Living is looking for group fitness instructor to teach at a luxury apartment community, Modera Sedici located at 3060 SW 37th Ave, Miami, FL 33133. Pay is $35/45 min class. This individual will be a part of a quickly expanding team focused on growth and delivering a consistent high-quality service to members within the community. Seeking individuals comfortable interacting and teaching group fitness class to the residents of Modera Sedici along with a passion for helping others meet their goals.
Travel to and from community is required in addition to checking and attendance tracking using our software system.
Qualifications
- Liability insurance (required) or willing to get it
- Experience in designing and implementing group fitness programs and classes
- Current CPR and AED certification, college degree, or Group Fitness certification (preferred)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clock-in/clock-out and sign off training sessions using our software
- Continually monitor and assist members to ensure proper form is used when performing exercises during classes
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance
- Lead and motivate clients safely throughout classes
- Practice what you preach. Live a lifestyle similar to the way you want clients to live theirs
- Modify specific exercises to accommodate various skill levels and/or physical ailments
- Be a fitness leader in the community
- Build your book and brand yourself for success
