Direct Care Provider

```Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Service Provider to join our team. As a Direct Service Provider, you will be responsible for providing assistance and support to individuals in need of care. This role requires excellent communication skills, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Responsibilities: - Provide direct care and support to individuals in their homes or assisted living facilities - Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation - Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals - Monitor and document changes in clients' behavior or health status - Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary - Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients - Drive clients to appointments or outings as needed - Provide emotional support and companionship to clients - Ensure that clients' rights are respected and upheld at all times Experience: - Previous experience in caregiving or direct service provision is preferred but not required - Familiarity with behavior management techniques is a plus - Knowledge of first aid procedures is beneficial - Experience working in assisted living or home care settings is desirable - Ability to effectively communicate with individuals of diverse backgrounds and abilities Skills: - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Patience, compassion, and empathy towards others - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately - Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively If you are passionate about providing quality care to individuals in need, we encourage you to apply for the position of Direct Service Provider.
