Tosoh America has an immediate opening for a full-time Human Resources Manager. In this exempt role, the HR Manager will report directly to the Director of Human Resources. This on-site position will be located at our Phoenix, Arizona office.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for technical, field, and administrative roles
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with federal, state, and environmental regulations
- Partner with operations and safety teams to support OSHA compliance and safety training
- Manage onboarding, orientation, and employee development programs
- Oversee performance review processes and support leadership coaching
- Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure confidentiality of employee data
- Administer benefits, leave programs, and workers’ compensation claims
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
- Prepare HR reports and metrics for leadership review
- Lead and facilitate on-site training sessions to support organizational initiatives, ensuring consistent delivery and alignment with company objectives.
- Develop and implement location-specific training programs, including organizing schedules, preparing materials, and conducting post-training assessments to measure effectiveness.
- Collaborate with HR and operational leadership to manage competitive compensation strategies aligned with market trends and organizational goals.
- Conduct regular compensation benchmarking to ensure the organization’s pay structure is competitive.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or HR certification preferred)
Skills and Qualifications
- 5 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, construction, utilities, or environmental services
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, OSHA regulations, safety and HR best practices
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in water treatment, utilities, or industrial operations
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR certification
- Bilingual (English/Spanish/Japanese) a plus
