Day Spa Concierge

Total Body Skin Care and Wellness Spa, Wayne NJ's newest spa specializing in facials, therapeutic massage, lymphatic drainage, body contouring and waxing, has an opening for a take-charge staff member to serve as Spa Concierge.

In this position, yours will be the first voice our clients hear when booking an appointment, and the first face they see when the enter our zen-like facility. For this reason we seek a self-confident, poised staff member with a love of social interaction and strong interpersonal skills, who makes our guests feel welcome and special at all times.

Guest-related job duties include assisting our guests with appointment booking, answering the telephone and responding to email and text messages related to appointments, welcoming guests upon their arrival and closing them out, inquiring about their satisfaction with our services, offering and selling them products, performing data entry, etc.

That being said, this is not a sit-down job. Applicant should be prepared to be up and about during the day, performing other non-guest-related activities such as stocking shelves, doing inventory, communicating with therapists to ensure good client flow, occasionally helping therapists prepare for upcoming appointments and performing basic housekeeping.

Hours are flexibile, but your availability should be approximately 5 hours per day, mornings, afternoons or evenings. Occasional Saturday availability preferred.

Preferred experience/background:

1 years of spa/salon experience

Bi-lingual Spanish/English

Tech-savvy

Social media skills

Deal-breakers: Due to the high visibility of this position, candidates must be free of visible body art (e.g. tattoos on body parts that cannot be covered by uniform) or body jewelry outside of pierced ears.
