Duties
- Provide dog training services to clients, including obedience training, behavior modification, and socialization.
- Assess dogs' behavior and develop individualized training plans based on their needs.
- Conduct training sessions using appropriate techniques to promote desired behaviors.
- Teach basic commands such as sit, stay, come, and heel, as well as more advanced commands and tricks.
- Assist with the rehabilitation of dogs with behavioral issues or aggression problems.
- Educate dog owners on proper handling techniques and effective training methods.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with dogs, preferably in a professional capacity such as a dog trainer, kennel attendant, veterinary technician, or veterinary assistant.
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and training techniques.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to effectively interact with clients.
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments safely and confidently.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds), bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods of time.
- Certification in dog training or related field is a plus.

Pay: $40.00 - $70.00 per hour
