Job Overview: We are a small, family-oriented landscaping company seeking a motivated, hardworking individual to join our team as a Field Foreman. This position offers the opportunity to lead a crew, drive a truck and trailer from job to job, and be a key part of our operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Crew Leadership: Oversee and manage a landscaping crew, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Truck/Trailer Operation: Drive company vehicles (truck/trailer) to transport crew and equipment from job to job.
- Hands-On Work: While you will lead the crew, you will also be expected to step in and assist with tasks, including working alongside crew members as necessary.
- Jobsite Oversight: Ensure that all jobs are executed as per client expectations, with a focus on quality, safety, and timeliness.
- Problem-Solving: Handle any on-site challenges that may arise, addressing client concerns or crew issues swiftly and professionally.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate directly with clients when necessary, providing updates on the status of jobs and ensuring their satisfaction.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Driver’s License: A clean driving record is essential for operating company vehicles and transporting the crew.
- Experience in Landscaping: Proven experience in landscaping, with a desire to step into a leadership role.
- Leadership & Teamwork: Ability to lead a team while remaining hands-on and jumping in to support the crew when needed.
- Strong Work Ethic: Must be willing to do whatever it takes to succeed, including stepping in for the lowest-ranking crew member if necessary.
- Reliability & Accountability: A self-starter who takes pride in their work and the success of the team.
