Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to students of various ages and academic levels.
- Deliver personalized lessons tailored to each student's unique learning needs.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages students to ask questions, engage in discussions, and develop critical thinking skills.
- Track and monitor students' progress, provide regular feedback, and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure students' academic success.
- Stay updated on current educational practices and utilize innovative teaching techniques to enhance students' learning experience.
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, student attendance, and academic achievements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the subject area(s) you will be tutoring.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for education and a genuine desire to help students succeed.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning styles.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students to develop a love for learning.
- Flexibility to work afternoon, evening, and/or weekend shifts based on students' availability.
