Duties
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems, refrigeration units, boilers, and other mechanical equipment using schematics, ohmmeters, and diagnostic tools.
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installations on HVAC/R equipment, appliances, boilers, and property systems to ensure peak performance.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to accurately repair complex mechanical systems.
- Conduct field service visits to client sites for emergency repairs or scheduled maintenance tasks involving air conditioning units, or other specialized equipment.
- Braze or use mechanical tools to repair or replace damaged components; operate power tools safely.
- Maintain detailed service records including logs of inspections, repairs performed, parts used, and system status updates.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while executing all maintenance or repair activities.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician in construction-related environments or property maintenance settings.
- Strong background in HVAC design principles, refrigeration systems and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with schematics reading, electrical testing (using ohmmeters), brazing techniques, and equipment repair procedures.
- Hands-on experience with field service operations involving air conditioning units, boilers, or HVAC/R systems.
- Knowledge of mechanical components such as pumps, valves, motors, and control systems; ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Previous work experience in property maintenance or facility management is highly desirable.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
