Travel Nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry Job in Sibley, Iowa
We are seeking a travel nurse RN with experience in Med Surg / Telemetry for a 12-hour night shift position in Sibley, Iowa. This is a travel nursing opportunity that requires the nurse to work every third weekend and rotate holidays with permanent staff.
About the Hospital
The hospital has up to 12 beds, with an average census of 3-6 patients. However, due to COVID-19, the census can reach up to 10 patients at times. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4-5, and the hospital practices team nursing, where the floor nurse and charge nurse work together to care for patients.
Shift Details
The shift duration is 12 hours, from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM. Weekend requirements include working every third Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Holidays are rotated with permanent staff, based on the assigned weekend schedule.

The hospital has a 24/7 pharmacy and a resourceful team, including an in-house charge nurse, ER RN, and another nurse in the outpatient area during the day. Although they do not have an ICU, the hospital provides a supportive environment for nurses to thrive.
