Touro University's Lander College for Women invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track position in Writing Composition and Literature. The candidate should be comfortable teaching in a religious and academically rigorous environment.
Responsibilities
- Teach four undergraduate courses per semester; courses are primarily in the core writing program with some courses in the core literature program and occasional courses in Creative Writing upper-level writing courses and English literature electives.
- Contribute to departmental and college-wide committees and programs advisement and other service
- Maintain an active research and / or writing agenda
Qualifications
Degrees
- Doctor of Philosophy preferred
- Bachelors required
- Masters required (M.A. in Literature Rhetoric & Composition Creative Writing or related field required)
- Experience teaching Composition at the college level required
- Experience teaching Composition at the college level required
