Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
- Assist customers with menu selections, providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene in food preparation areas.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and communicate needs to management for timely replenishment.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Experience in cash handling and operating POS systems; familiarity with POS is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety practices within the food industry.
- Ability to perform basic food preparation tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in retail math for accurate transaction processing.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to enhance customer interactions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
