Responsibilities
The Genetic Counselor will join the Section of Clinical Genetics which includes a full time clinical Geneticist and Genetic Counselor who also collaborate with a metabolic Geneticist and onsite cytogenetics laboratory. The Genetic Counselors provide counseling, education and support to patients and families within the section's general pediatric genetics clinic, PKU/metabolic clinic, inpatient service and specialty clinics (craniofacial, CF, spina bifida, hemophilia).

Qualifications
- M.S. in Human Genetics/Genetic Counseling from the American Board of Genetics Counselors (ABGC) accredited institution. Should be Board eligible/certified in Genetic Counseling, and if not certified, must sit and pass at the next available opportunity.
- Certification from the American Board of Medical Genetics or American Board of Genetic Counselors.
- One year of clinical experience is required
- Experience in pediatric genetics required
