The Room Service Ambassador employee's primary function is to deliver meals to patients in a manner that supports the Hospital's commitment to the Culture of Excellence. Each employee must have a working knowledge of department specific technology that includes the operation of hand-held devices and tray line computer- based support equipment.
The Room Service Ambassador will perform essential food service functions such as:
- Delivery of patient meal trays.
- Assembly of trays for delivery to patients.
- Operation of food service equipment.
- Cleaning and sanitizing dishware, equipment, and food production areas.
- Maintaining safe food production and service areas to ensure appealing, appetizing, and wholesome food for those served by the Nutrition Services Department.
