SEEKING:
Town & Country Finance is currently seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Originator for a full-time, commission-based position. This role may also offer the possibility of a Hybrid work arrangement, allowing for both remote work and office-based work. The primary responsibilities of the Loan Originator include generating new loan production, assessing loan applications, collecting and analyzing customer financial information, and guiding customers through the entire loan process from origination to close, with the support of an in-house loan processor.
Desired Education/Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Two or more recent years of full-time origination experience preferred but not required
Experience using the Calyx Point loan origination system is preferred, but not required
Qualifications/Responsibilities
- 2 years of full-time refinance/purchase loan origination experience
- Ability to correctly and accurately structure and price loans
- Complete knowledge of conventional and government loan programs (purchase and refinance)
- Current NMLS license
- Colorado NMLS license at minimum
- Familiarity with mortgage lending regulations and guidelines
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on building and maintaining relationships
- Professional attitude, appearance and voice
- Community-oriented person
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good rapport with Realtors and Title Companies
- Builds rapport and leverages customer relationships with existing and potential borrowers
- Analyze customers' financial situations and provide the appropriate solution by advising customers as to the appropriate loan product for them
- Lock loans, request initial documents from the customer, and submit an initial loan package
