What are the responsibilities and job description for the Library Page (Part-Time) position at Town of Brookline?
The Brookline Public Library is seeking a customer service oriented part-time Library Page for the Coolidge Corner Branch. The Library Page will help with various projects including sorting and shelving library materials. Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, work independently, alphabetize materials and ability to use the Dewey Decimal System. Ability to work patiently and politely with the public. Experience working with the public, computer software and email. Ability to lift books and to maneuver a cart of materials is required. Additional language skills are a plus. Some training provided.
Working Hours and Salary:
Must be available on some weekends and evenings, including Sundays in the summer and available to work at other branches as needed. Position is 16 hours per week. Starting Salary $17.00 per hour.
