SEASONAL/ON CALL ASSISTANT HARBORMASTER

The Town of Dennis seeks qualified candidates for the position of Seasonal/On Call Assistant Harbormasters.
Candidates must be proficient in small boat operation and have knowledge of boating and navigation laws, regulations and required safety equipment. Knowledge of basic construction and use of hand tools preferred. Knowledge of Dennis waterways preferred.
Minimum qualifications for the position include possession of high school diploma or equivalent.
Physical effort / ability is frequently required including, but not limited to: lifting, running, swimming, agility on unstable surfaces (docks, boat decks, etc.).
Applicants must be available to work weekends during the summer season and comply with assigned shift schedules as determined by the Harbormaster or Deputy Harbormaster.
This position also requires a valid Massachusetts motor vehicle operator’s license, certified First Aid and CPR.
