Join our Team! Events and Visitor Services is seeking a Seasonal Visitor Information Assistant for the winter season, not to exceed 6 months. Weekend work will be required.

The Visitor Information Assistant provides friendly, timely, and accurate visitor services to callers, emailers, and walk-in visitors who seek information about Town services, attractions, businesses, events, and Rocky Mountain National Park; maintains Visitor Center lobby displays, handles community ticket sales, and maintains statistical records for visitor services.

Assists walk-in, email, and call-in visitors with inquiries using visitor center printed materials, kiosk, and online resources.
Maintains a working knowledge of the public and private attractions, recreation areas, events, weather conditions, accommodations, shops, restaurants and other attractions.
Assists with the maintenance of materials and handouts distributed at the front counter by volunteers and visitor services staff.
Ensures that visitor information publications are well stocked and up to date in the visitor center lobby and disposes of out-dated materials.
Assists with the organization of all visitor center printed materials & publications in the center’s storage area.
Uses the Visit Estes Park, Town of Estes Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado Department of Transportation, and other websites as required to assist callers, emailers, and walk-in visitors with varied questions about the area.
Communicates daily Rocky Mountain National Park updates to volunteers at the front counter and to the public.
Inputs the daily number of incoming telephone calls and visitor traffic counts in spreadsheets.
Handles community ticket sales.
Performs other related work as required or assigned.
