Provide on-site supervision for all confirmed dates and hours for the program. Spring soccer meets for 8 sessions, on Saturdays from 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM. Organize and implement the on-field soccer operations for all dates and hours of the program; including: Set-up and remove all required equipment (goals, extra soccer balls, cones, large white board for field assignments, etc.)Post and update field assignments for each age groupHand out uniforms to all teams/players on the first day of the programEnsure that all teams have a coach on the fieldKeep all groups on schedule by starting and ending games on timeRespond to participant's questions and concernsProvide volunteer coaches with ideas for soccer drills and warm-ups
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Some soccer playing or coaching experience preferred.Must be at least 18 years of age.Must pass a background check.Must have or be willing to get certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED. Parks and Recreation Department can provide training for applicants that require certification or renewal.Program runs: Saturday mornings, 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM, plus set-up and break down.Season: 8 weeks, 4 - 6 hours per week.
