What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Soccer Instructor position at Town of Greenwich?
Assist the Soccer Director and volunteer coaches with instruction, organization, set-up, clean-up and other duties as assigned.
Provides positive instruction and guidance to young players.
Conducts soccer drills, demonstrate skills, and organize and officiate modified games.
Role model and implement good sportsmanship.
Ensures that all equipment is set-up and removed before and after each session.
Some soccer playing or coaching experience preferred. Must be at least 16 years of age.
May be required to pass a background check.
Program runs: Saturday mornings
Season: 8 weeks, 2 – 4 hours per week.
Former seasonal employees may be given preference to the position.
