POSITION: Summer Camp Leader - Recreation
Parks and Recreation Department
Seasonal position, Approx. 35 hours/week, M-F between the hours of 7:45AM-4:00PM, 7-week camp program, trainings to be held the week of June 17-21, 2024, Camp dates, 6/24/248/9/24
STARTING SALARY (through 6/30/24): $15.69 hour
STARTING SALARY (effective 7/1/24): $16.00/hour
POSITION RANGE (effective 7/1/24): $16.00 $17.00/hour
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Successful candidates will enjoy working with children and have the desire and ability to work in a cooperative, team-oriented atmosphere. Must have a sense of humor and be enthusiastic, creative, patient, flexible, confident, and responsible. Must also have the ability to provide good customer service, communicate effectively, solve problems, and plan and lead recreational activities such as outdoor games, crafts, music, drama, sports, and special events. Daily attendance is required as well as the availability to work the entire length of camp with limited exceptions.
