40 hours per weekJune 1, 2024 through September 1, 2024Under direction of the Parks Superintendent, the Golf Superintendent and the Parks Foreman, performs semi-skilled and annual labor in the maintenance of town parks and open space areas. Must have the ability to work cooperatively with other crew members, as well as without direct supervision. Performs general maintenance relating to time of year.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Operates hand and riding mowers to cut playing fields, park areas or golf course.Operates string trimmers for weedwacking.Performs manual labor in tasks such as field lining, weeding, raking, and fence repair.Assists in tree planting and facility repairs.Performs routine tasks such as emptying garbage cans, picking up litter, and checking parks equipment for safety hazards.Sees that all equipment is cleaned and returned to proper location after use.
