We are currently looking for a part-time Student Pharmacist to work at our Solon Pharmacy location. Position Summary:
As a Student Pharmacist, you will work under the supervision of licensed pharmacists to support daily pharmacy operations, enhance patient care, and develop your clinical and professional skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and verifying prescriptions
- Provide excellent customer service and patient counseling under supervision
- Support inventory management and medication storage compliance
- Participate in medication therapy management (MTM) and immunization clinics (if applicable)
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Stay current with pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited PharmD program (P1–P4)
- Reliable transportation to and from the pharmacy in Solon, IA
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of pharmacy software systems is a plus
Schedule Requirements:
- Rotating Saturdays: Approximately 2 per month, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Additional hours may be available based on availability and pharmacy needs
