What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Assistant position at Towne & Country Veterinary Hospital?
We are looking for a part-time enthusiastic, career motivated veterinary assistant to join our experienced, long-term staff. Schedule would be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8 am to 5 pm and alternating Saturdays 8 am to 12 pm. Our 4-doctor practice offers dentistry, digital radiography, endoscopy, in house and outside reference laboratory, laser surgery/therapy, orthopedic/soft tissue surgery, and much more.
Duties include – but are not limited to – lab work (fecals, serum chemistry, hematology, Idexx SNAP tests), radiography, surgical pack prep, animal restraint, nail trims, medication administration, and facility cleaning.

Pay: $15.75 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
