Position: Assistant Community Manager
Location: Indian Creek Apartments and Townhomes in Cincinnati, OH.
Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am to 5pm, with the potential for some Saturdays as needed.
Community Size: 452 units
What We're Looking For:
- At least 2 year of experience in property management or leasing, ideally in multifamily housing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Yardi software.
- Strong verbal and written skills with excellent customer service.
- Detail-oriented with effective time management and multitasking abilities.
- Able to manage and resolve a variety of challenges.
- Highly motivated with a keen eye for detail.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance.
- Willing to submit to drug and background checks upon receiving a job offer.
Other helpful skills and competencies:
- NALP® designation through NAA
- Yardi experience
- Social media skills
What You'll Do:
- Welcomes prospective residents, provides community tours, and manages lease explanations.
- Supports daily property operations to meet financial and operational goals.
- Ensures the property and apartments are in top condition and ready for new leases.
- Helps build and lead a cohesive team to achieve property objectives.
- Conducts leasing activities and maintains accurate records in Yardi.
- Oversees move-ins, move-outs, and prepares lease paperwork.
- Maintains resident records, including tracking payments for rent, deposits, and application fees. Issues necessary notices (e.g., late payments, eviction, returned checks).
- Prepares reports, manages resident files, and assists with renewals and community events.
- Stays updated on local competition and marketing trends.
- Contributes to financial goals by managing rent collection and delinquent accounts.
- Assists the Property Manager with various property management duties.
