Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain designated areas, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Perform general housekeeping duties such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and changing linens
- Ensure all rooms are stocked with necessary supplies and amenities
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
- Follow established cleaning procedures and guidelines to maintain a high standard of cleanliness
- Provide excellent customer service to guests by addressing their needs and requests promptly and professionally
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is preferred
- Knowledge of housekeeping management practices and techniques
- Familiarity with custodial and industrial cleaning procedures
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
Skills:
- Hospitality: Understanding the importance of providing a positive guest experience and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
- Hotel: Knowledge of hotel standards and procedures related to housekeeping operations.
- Housekeeping Management: Ability to oversee and coordinate housekeeping tasks, ensuring cleanliness standards are met.
- Custodial: Familiarity with custodial practices, including cleaning methods for different surfaces.
- Industrial Cleaning: Experience with cleaning large spaces or industrial facilities.
- Floor Care: Knowledge of floor care techniques, including vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and polishing.
