Summary
We are seeking a skilled Revenue Manager to join our team at TGC Hospitality Management. In this role, you will be responsible for maximizing revenue opportunities through strategic pricing and inventory management. Your expertise will play a vital role in driving the financial success of our hospitality operations by developing a rate strategy that optimizes the best mix of business through multiple distribution channels.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement revenue management strategies to optimize pricing and inventory.
- Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to inform strategic decisions.
- Support hotel's yield efforts, via analysis and reporting, that ensure all segments and distribution channels are mined for revenue opportunities based on budget, forecast, pace and market demand.
- Maximize revenue potential and ensure proactive and accurate maintenance and management of all systems.
- Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to achieve revenue targets.
- Assist Director of Revenue in preparing short and long-term forecasts.
- Own and validate all required data entry for daily, weekly and monthly reports used for monitoring performance against budget, forecast and proforma. Ensure that the necessary reports are maintained and systematically analyzed, including but not limited to: STR, Market Segment Analysis, Source Contribution, Internet Production, Pickup and Pace by Segment, and Room Type Statistics.
- Take lead in preparing documents for Weekly Revenue Meetings, providing data in terms of pricing, availability, market demand and promotional opportunities for all segments and channels and leading the meeting with GMs and DOO.
- Utilize financial software and Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Revenue Manager with at least two years of experience, preferably in extended stay.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Hotel Management or related field. Familiarization with hotel revenue management concepts and tools.
- Ability to obtain certifications necessary to gain access to Revenue Management Systems.
- Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving and problem identification.
- Ability to interpret financial reports and analyze data effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with various departments.
- Ability to collect, analyze and interpret revenue performance data.
- Must effectively manage and adhere to struct daily/weekly/monthly deadlines.
