In 2021, Townhall II will be celebrating its 50th anniversary of providing services to our community and we are proud to say that the pandemic has not resulted in any layoffs in our counseling department. The agency is focused on promoting the health, wellness, and recovery of individuals and communities through prevention, education, advocacy, intervention, and treatment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
We desire applicants who currently have, or who are in the process of obtaining, Ohio MHAS certification as a Certified Peer Supporter (or equivalent certification from another state that is recognized by Ohio).
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· The Certified Peer Recovery Supporter’s role is to assist others with a Substance Use Disorder in developing recovery goals. They must demonstrate an ability to share personal recovery experiences, develop authentic peer-to-peer relationships, and accurately identify client needs and corresponding resources to address those needs.
· Maintain project logs, reports and records in appropriate files and database(s).
