What We're Looking For:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will have a strong work ethic, be reliable and consider yourself a go-getter. We are looking for someone to perform maintenance and repair activities on the facility and equipment, including but not limited to electrical and mechanical operations. We need a decision maker who likes to be challenged, and can always be counted on to exercise sound judgement. Someone who likes to be hands-on, wants to learn new skills, be part of a team, and advance within a growing company.
- At least 2-5 years of maintenance experience
- Basic mechanical and electrical experience is preferred
- Knowledge of plumbing, hydraulic and compressor systems
- Knowledge of pumps, motors, motor controls, instrumentation, metal fabrication, and other maintenance functions
- Experience with PLC a plus
- Fast paced individual willing to cross-train
- Ability to communicate effectively, including the ability to read, write, and speak English clearly
- Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening
- Authorized to work in the United States
A Day in the Life:
- Performs inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs on facility and equipment. (Toyota will provide tools)
- Troubleshoots, provides diagnosis and plans repairs on equipment.
- Installs new equipment and fixtures.
- Fabricates metal to include: cutting, forming and joining.
- Conduct analysis on electrical controls and circuits
- Uses Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
- Coordinates with contractors for onsite projects.
- Orders, receives or collects, and stocks parts and other maintenance materials.
- Maintains files and logs.
- Performs general housekeeping and grounds keeping.
