TACG is a manufacturing environment manufacturing the highest quality Variable Displacement Automotive Air Conditioning Compressors used in the automobile industry today. In addition, TACG works closely with local sister companies of TICA (AC Compressor component production) & TIES (electronic component production).

We are seeking someone with the following knowledge, skills, and abilities defined below and with similar drive and commitment to our shared values.
Duties and responsibilities: Cost Accountant
- Maintenance of corporate Cost Accounting methodology and procedures
- Oversight of periodic inventory counts and maintenance of inventory and controls
- Collaborate with the Production team to understand the full production process
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to understand the accurate bill of materials as well as in-depth knowledge of the full production process.
- Streamline inventory procedures and maintain consistent reports
- Analyze cost absorption and perform variance analysis monthly
- Interested in numbers, inventory control, transaction analysis, and journal entry
Required skills and qualifications: Cost Accountant
- 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing cost accounting
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or any related field
- Must have the ability to analyze large data sets
- Strong understanding of cost methods
- Proficiency in MS Suites (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Experience with and ability to work with physical inventory in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Must be team-oriented and self-motivated
