Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team at a hotel in Port Jefferson, NY . The Night Auditor will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during the night shift.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct the night audit process efficiently and accurately
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs during the night shift
- Provide exceptional guest services and address guest inquiries and concerns promptly
- Manage phone systems and respond to guest calls professionally
- Process reservations and cancellations
- Balance and reconcile hotel revenue for the day
- Ensure all end-of-day reports are generated and distributed
- Collaborate with the front desk staff to ensure a seamless transition between shifts
Experience:
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred
- Proficiency in using hotel management software for night audit procedures
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of front desk operations and night audit processes
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, but not required
